Derry Hawks Field Day

This Saturday, September 6, 2003 at 9:00 am we are having a field day for all players officially registered with the Derry Hawks program. This includes players 6 years old and older as of 8/31/08 or those players younger that will be playing up at U8.

The purpose of this day is to allow all players to play in small sided games and have them run through some drills in an effort to create balanced teams for the up coming season. Players are to report and check in at the following locations:

If your child wants to play up (i.e. 8 year old wants to play on a U12 team) then report to the appropriate field, though the club does not encourage this.

When you arrive at the field, please check in at the check in tent. Upon check in your will receive your number and you will be directed to the field where coaches & volunteers will assist with player groupings and to show them where to go on the field. If you fail to check in you will be sent back to the tent so please save yourself some time and check in when you arrive.

At the end of the day we expect to have the teams picked by the coaches. By Sunday evening we should have the schedule completed and passed along to your coaches along with your email address so they can contact you.

We are looking forward to a fun-filled season. Players in the U6 division will start September 13th. Times will be announced next week.

In the event that there is inclement weather field day will take place on Sunday 9/7/08. If so, everything will get pushed back a day.
